A day will come when you think yourself safe and happy, and suddenly your joy will turn to ashes in your mouth, and you'll know the debt is paid.

The mystery murderer

The clock struck two. The strong wind brought the rain and the chilliness of the stormy night through the open window. He saw the shadows of the forest through the glass pane while the howls of the jackals were heard between the long and low rumbles of thunder.

The police surgeon gulped down another puff of smoke and stared at the wall. He enjoyed thinking about death and life during the short intervals between autopsies. After all, the post mortem hall was the best place to think. The joy of unraveling the mystery behind the death of strangers was priceless to him.
He threw the cigarette stub onto the floor and got up from his chair. The corpse was laid onto the table. He checked his log. That was the thirteenth autopsy since that morning. Whenever more than a few strangers chose to end their misery on the same day, the surgeon had to stay back all night.
“How many bodies are there yet to be seen?” he asked the assistant.
The assistant was removing the blood stained cloth which covered the young man who lay motionless on the dissection table. There were jars on the shelves, filled with liquids of different colors. He sterilized the chiseled knives and bone saws and placed them on the side stand.
“This is the last one, sir,” the assistant replied.

The surgeon walked towards the table with a sigh. He put on his gloves and took the scalpel in his hand.
The incandescent tube flickered once.
“The body was collected from the lower depths of the valley. By the looks of it, it is at least three days old, sir. The police have registered an FIR. The identity is not known,” the assistant informed him, after a glance at the case sheet.
“Another idiot jumping off,” the surgeon muttered.
“No suicide note was recovered, sir,” the assistant said and thought of discussing the matter further, but he kept his thoughts to himself. He was just as tired as the police surgeon.

The surgeon looked at the corpse. He placed a rubber brick behind the neck to lift the torso and placed the tip of his scalpel at the neck. He softly pressed the scalpel into the body and cut through the chest till the navel. The assistant held the shoulders as the surgeon took the chiseled knife and made a horizontal cut between the two shoulders. Drops of blood that oozed from the wound resembled a big “T” in the white body.

“Hmm, the blood is still warm, which means the time of death is assessed wrongly,” the surgeon told the assistant. He inserted his fingers into the open woundto probe further. The skin ripped apart like an old-fashioned waist coat. He paused for a moment to look at the organs. The lungs and the heart were cocooned inside the ribs. He took the scissors in hand and started to cut the arteries
Suddenly, a small cry of pain was in the air.The surgeon lifted his face and looked around. What he saw last before the lights went out was the look on the face of the assistant, who lifted his shivering hands towards the table.

Darkness filled the hall.
There was an eerie silence for a moment. The surgeon frantically shouted to the assistant to switch on the emergency lamp at once. A growling sound followed by a loud thud of breaking glasses startled him. As his body started to shake, he desperately tried to lean on the wall to avoid falling.

Lightning struck outside. The surgeon got a glimpse of the room and his face went pale as soon as he saw the sight before him: the assistant was lying on the table, his neck snapped and head dangling down from the table.
The surgeon fell down as if he was paralyzed. The next flash of lightening left him a visual that remained in his eyes till he took his final breath, a few moments later.

The corpse, on which he was working a few moments earlier, was standing facing the wall. The drops of blood from the tip of the scalpel formed a pool of blood right beneath his feet. He wrote the number thirteen on the wall and turned his face to smile at the surgeon.

Surgeon bit his tongue in fear and fell down clasping his chest, never to get up.
The jackals waited outside for their new master.

What does a guy want? A relationship, simple as that. What does a girl want? Let's just be friends.

Though, we didn’t talked much but we were clear on our sides, at least I was. She just wanted to be friends but on the other side I wanted something more than that. I wanted what every guy wants from a single, pretty girl, a relationship. Simple as that, I thought.

If you have been thinking understanding Einstein’s theory of relativity is difficult, you haven’t met a real girl yet bro. There are numerous equations going in a girl’s mind. For example: she takes care about what other girls are wearing, she has to do her daily chores, she got to engage in gossip once a day, she has to listen to her parents, she got to take care of themselves and etcetera, etcetera. And In the mean time if there is any time left she wants to destroy with friendship. I mean Kudos to theirs multi tasking skills but friendship, really? I mean why waste time with friendship and esp. friendship with boys, when they can have serious relationships.

Girls are always the one who complains about this guy is not serious, he is not committed and bla bla, when it comes to serious matter they say and I quote,” Why destroy this friendship with relationship”? I mean there is ship in both of these words and however this ship gotta sink. So, why not try now? But no. They want friendship, they share everything with their so called best friends, and slowly that best friend develops a feeling for her but in the end it does not matter because of two reasons. One is he is already friend zoned and next is she will already be going out with the P-O-T smoking, messy haired, non serious type of guy and when they break up ( and they surely will do) she will be saying and I quote,” All the guys are same”.

Well, you know what? The guy who really liked you or maybe loved you secretly, cared for you, never interrupted when you were talking was your guy but you chose the wrong one and you think everyone is bad.

Expectations and Reality, What is the silver lining?

Does it ever happens to you that when you are going through the toughest or maybe the worst phase of your life and out of the blue life showers you with opportunities and happiness. You see a glimpse of hope. Then everything around you turns good, you feel good. You think Life is not so miserable. We start to grab those chances and slowly but steadily we progress. But, we do not know what is planned for us. And when we are just a stone’s throw away from reaching the peak, we feel something moving, something not good.

The avalanche destroys all of our hopes, all of our expectations, all of our efforts and progress we made in that time. And we come back to the initial point where life betrayed us and showed the glimpse of hope to us. All of that hard work was useless we may think, but my friend the problem is we expect more. The Expectations increase exponentially but reality is a constant. Reality has its own pace. We will discuss about Expectations Versus Reality in our next post.

Destiny, what is destiny and where to find destiny? Here is the answer

Does it ever happen to anyone that you meet someone, you spend nice time together, you both share common interests and by the end of the day you think that you are perfect for each other. Many people may define this thing as destiny. But do you really think that is destiny? Do you really believe that you can find destiny that easily? The answer my dear friend is no.

If everyone found destiny that easily the world would not be like it is today. You may think if everyone living Aon this planet found their destiny the world would be a much better place to live but my friend the answer to this is No. If you’ve have seen a movie called Grace Alimony where god gives his powers to a human and at the end by being frustrated with all those prayers of people he grants all of their wishes. When the lottery result came out everyone who asked god for winning lottery wins the lottery. And people come out on the street and start destroying vehicles, shops, demolishing buildings. The main theme what I am trying to give here is if all the demands of the human kind is fulfilled the world not be a better place to live. It would rather be composed of more hatred, more anger, and more egos.

Just think for a second, what would happen if everyone was rich? The simple answer would be the poverty would not prevail. No one would be homeless; no one would ever get to sleep with an empty stomach, no one would be uneducated and we think this is the ideal society. This is the society everybody wants but my friend you really don’t want to live there.

If Gold was as abundant as metal, would people still wear gold? If you are still wondering about this question just think would you wear a metal necklace today? This is so because the thing that is found least has greater value no matter how bad they are. The same thing here applies for destiny too. And when I mean destiny I am not just talking about when a guy finds his Cinderella or when a girl finds her prince charming. Destiny cannot just be limited. It is vast, it is deep. It either cannot be defined or can be categorized.

People are of different nature and so is their destiny. Someone wants maybe to be a doctor or an engineer. We cannot say that this is not his/her destiny. If he/she find perfect happiness pursuing their dream it is theirs destiny. But can everyone pursue their dream? The answer is no. At least I couldn’t. I am not saying that we cannot find destiny I am saying only some of us can find it. The god or the universe or whatever superpower that made us have made our destiny. But nowadays we have become so busy with our lives that whatever makes us happy we think that is destiny. My friend when you find destiny you become restless, you become emotionless, you become speechless, it makes your heart beat fast and slow at the same time, the pleasure is ineffable like when you see a rainbow after a massive catastrophe.

You can find it anywhere. We just gotta search for it. It may either be in the Himalayas or in front of you.
