A day will come when you think yourself safe and happy, and suddenly your joy will turn to ashes in your mouth, and you'll know the debt is paid.

Make Easy Braised Egg (Soy Sauce Egg) from Leftovers

Ingredients:
  • eggs
  • leftover liquid from braising

Steps:
  1. Carefully put eggs into boiling water.
  2. Boil for 7 minutes for soft-boiled and 9 minutes for hard-boiled eggs.
  3. Immediately transfer to ice water.
  4. Crack eggs to let the cold water enter and make the shell easier to peel.
  5. Peel eggs.
  6. Score eggs to let the sauce enter and make it more flavorful.
  7. Add braising liquid and bring to boil (add water and soy sauce if liquid is not enough).
  8. Turn off immediately. Let eggs cool down and soak in the liquid.

Make a large batch and keep in fridge and enjoy cold or hot. Eat by itself or with noodles/rice/porridge. These are a super popular food for lunch boxes since they taste great cold/room temp as well. My little brother can eat 4 at once (or until they are all gone).
Most recipes for red cooked pork, kakuni, etc. suggest adding a couple of eggs during the original cooking/braising process, but I find that the sauce gets "eggy," and the eggs get over-cooked. With this technique, you can save the flavor of the original dish, control the exact doneness of your eggs, and make a larger batch of eggs!

My passion in Life

                                                                                                                            Location: On Earth

                                                                                                                           Time: 12 midnight

                                                                                                                           Character: Tom the liar

[Tom is somewhere in north-pole inside in an igloo. It seems that he is writing something. Let’s see what he’s up to now.]

November morning, five o’ clock, was pretty chilly, but as always I carried on with my routine. I woke up to get a shower in my igloo bathroom and in less than fifteen minutes I found myself in front of my study table. This had not happened for the first time. As soon as I have some work to do, I am always leaning my head upon some stuff before it’s four in my igloo clock even if it is on some autobiography of ‘Bob, the penguin’.

                                   \

I remember I have always been reluctant to do my homework, the one which requires a lot of head to put on. Not maths, I liked figures but numbers made me sick. Ever since I was small, I wanted to do something in my life. But what, I couldn’t figure it out. I didn’t want to put my brainy mind to focus upon some figures and numbers 24 hours a day until I am so furious of not solving a question that I pull every single hair off my head and become bald as that of some of my math teachers’. I wanted to do something odd, something different, and something extra-ordinary. Just then as I was thinking what would that be, I found myself being struck by something. I turned to my heels to have a look at the daring creature; I found it to be the book of “The Great Literates of the World” with a red, thick & hard cover. I had a brainwave and I found an electric bulb lighting over my head just as Newton might have had upon being hit by the apple. What was I in search of was always in front of me. After all these years my quest for my aim I had now finally found it. How could I be so dumb to be unaware of the undiluted power of the book? Finally, I could figure it out what I will be doing in my life “book binding”.

Growing up in Kathmandu

Being raised up in Kathmandu means having a myriad of mixed experiences. It is a demographic hub of people from many different cultures of Nepalese society. Being raised here means you get to know many things about communities scattered around different parts of the country. Part of living here also certifies that you are accustomed to getting your way through confusingly scattered roads as well as unusually large traffic and group of pedestrians.

Apart from its narrow roads and congested buildings, Kathmandu also retains seven of the UNESCO's "World Heritage Sites" within its area, all of which are symbols of our great past. "Boudhanath" and "Swayambhunath" are two Buddhist stupas that fall under the heritage list and are main focus for cultural enthusiasts and Buddhist spiritual seekers. Apart from that "Pasupatinath" and "Changunarayan" temples lie as nerve centers for Hindus as well as spiritual travelers from around the world. The remaining three being the three palace squares that are some centuries old. Being known as the "city of temples", Kathmandu has many other religious and historic structures to offer for seeing as well. For adventure seekers there is also an option for paragliding within the area.

Being in Kathmandu also implies you get to eat different Tibetan and Indian cuisines that have been brought from the neighbors India and China. One particular modified version of Chinese "Dumplings" being "MoMo" which is famous for its great spicy flavor. Then there is a dish called "lafing" (mainly found around Boudhanath stupa area) that also has Tibetan origins and is well known for stimulating the taste buds. "Panipuri"  and "Chatpate" (puffed rice with spices) are two snacks that has been influenced from Indian food. Apart from the Indian and Tibetan dishes that have been brought in and modified, there is also local "Newari" food that boasts hundreds of recipes with different variety such as "Choila" (buffalo meat with spices), "Chatamari” etc. Many of them are difficult to pronounce but  nevertheless having them for dinner or lunch is like having once in a lifetime experience.

[RECIPE] Scallops with spinach, shallots and wine

Good food is simple to cook. You just have to try harder. Sarcasm eh? Like I said in my earlier post on How to cook a whole chicken in an oven that I would post recipe for scallops with wine.

scallops,scallops with spinach,scallops and shallots

Scallops:
-10-15 good scallops. You can really do as many as you want.

-Salt/Pepper

-Olive oil (about 2 teaspoons, I just eyeball and add more if need be)

-1/2 medium shallot, minced

-Good white wine. I use whatever I have on hand, Need about 1/2-3/4 cup

-Butter 1 teaspoon

-Lemon wedge

-Teaspoon dijon

Spinach:

-about 12 oz of spinach, again as much as you want to make really

-4 cloves garlic, minced

-Salt/Pepper

-Olive oil (couple teaspoons)

-Pinch of paprika, to taste

Start things off with the spinach. Heat olive oil in large pan (I use a dutch oven with tall sides). Add garlic and brown a little (do not burn, burnt garlic sucks). Add spinach and mix garlic, adding salt, pepper, and paprika to taste. Cover for about 1-2 minutes until its nice and wilted but moist. Give it another toss and remove and place on serving plate.
scallops and wine, recipe for scallops and wine

Using the same pan, or a different one, heat up some more olive oil. You want this to be hot to develop a good sear on the scallops. Pat scallops dry and season w/ salt/pepper. Place in the hot olive oil and sear 1-2 mins. Flip once and sear on the other side for 1-2 minutes. You are looking for color here, but do not overcook. More than a couple minutes and you can easily overcook scallops. Remove from pan and drizzle a little lemon over them. Add shallots, butter to pan browning a little bit. Add the white wine and stir. Let this cook down to about half the original volume of wine added. Add Dijon and stir. Remove from heat. Add the scallops back in with the sauce and let them get cozy for a minute.

Serving: Twirl your spinach on a plate and place a couple of scallops on top. Add shallot/wine sauce on top. Serve with good bread, wine. Good one to cook for the ladies.

[RECIPE] How to cook a whole chicken in an oven

how to cook a roasted chicken
Do you have an hour this evening or even tomorrow? If so, just heat the oven to 450 degrees F. If there is stuff inside the chicken take it out and throw it away (or save for soup), dry it off with paper towels, coat the skin all over with salt and pepper and on the insides. Then put it on a pan and put it in the heated oven for one hour. Then take it out and let it sit for 15 minutes and it is ready to eat! You can cut it up (any old way will do but the prime breasts are on the top on either side of the thin middle bone) and eat it then or put it in the fridge for sandwiches or something tomorrow. If you are near a store where you can get some cheap macaroni or potato salad that is always a nice simple side dish. Get some fresh bread for sandwiches and all that needs is maybe some mayonnaise but I often just put some of the macaroni salad in there there with the chicken and some pepper.

Hopefully you have some people around there and I often find that the best thing to do in this situation is bring food over so I hope that you get some help in that regard. And then please come back here whenever you can and learn some more simple (or fancy) recipes! Best of luck and I wish you the best!

cook a whole chicken, cook a chicken in an oven

Note: The dark meat is mostly in the legs (and the wings maybe) if that is what you like. You can really get in there all over picking it apart with your fingers if you don't mind getting messy. There are little bits of edible meat all over so get right in there and get it all! You can even put BBQ or any sauce like that on it if you have some in the fridge.

I will post another recipe for Scallops with spinach, shallots, wine. Be tuned!

Adios Amigos.

How to buy cheap and feasible computer parts

computer parts,buying computer partsBuying computer parts maybe be quite tricky if you are doing this for the first time.So here I am writing a few points about buying cheap and compatible computer parts.
  • Don't cheap out on the Power Supply. You'll regret it when you get a new GPU and your system fails/explodes/catches fire/kills all your parts in a shower of sparks and flashing.
  • While the physical PSU quality is incredibly important; getting a 600W PSU for a computer that uses 550W is also something to avoid.
  • Read reviews, consumer reviews as well as company reviews on a product/part. Take the reviews with a grain of salt of course, but you can get a sense of how the part performed under heavy loads.
  • Sound cards are almost always not needed.
  • Have patience and accept the fact that what ever you buy now, can become outdated in a month or less.
      And Finally

  • Spend more. The more you spend, the better you get.

What is Beauty and Ugliness

Morning spread its arms, embracing all. The sun's rays entered the woods, penetrating the trees, straight as arrows. Buds opened into flowers as the rays kissed them good morning. Dew drops shone on the green leaves, looking like diamonds embedded in an emerald stone. After enjoying their glory for some seconds, the dew drops vanished into eternity. The lake water flowed gently, allowing the sunlight to reach the depths of the lake to wake up the aquatic life. The rustling leaves seemed to provide a soft music while the singing was provided by the birds. The lake water too, at intervals, joined the leaves in the nature's song. Like every day, morning proudly revealed its beauty with panache.

Somewhere, on the soft, brown earth, a black scorpion killed an innocent insect. While it feasted on its prey, the insect's blood fell on the soft earth, drop by drop, wetting the earth.

Everyone would choose the morning's beauty over that scorpion's gruesome act because none looked closely to realise that where the scorpion killed the insect was the very same earth where morning danced to nature's song.

Because few know that beauty resides along with ugliness.

Because few know that beauty and ugliness are the same side of a coin.

13 ways to spend money on yourself wisely and irresponsibly.

spend money, how to spend money,where to spend money
Here, when I am talking about money I am just talking about $1,000.  So, be cool guys!
This post is imaginary because I shall never have one thousand dollars but, again what the hell right? Okay then. I have $1,000. Still unbelievable to just write it down.

Let me start with my $1,000 fantasy

  • Upgrade my graphics card, a new mobo, and blow the rest on games. God I feel guilty saying that.
  • Heroin? Anyone say heroin yet? Yeah, heroin.

  • Either one $1000 hooker or one thousand $1 hookers.
  • A flare gun: I've always wanted a flare gun for no particular reason.
  • 20 years worth of Xbox Live.
  • Cocaine, beer, and pinball games at the local arcade. I already have said heroin, haven't I?
  • All the premium porn subscriptions.
  • 100,000 penny sweets. Duh!
  • A functional replica of the Wallace Sword, a pair of cheap guns, and a sheath and holster for all of them.Then I can go out into the streets at night, and become......Mel Gibson-man.
  • Those gold flakes that you eat to turn your shit golden.That's the dream.
  • wigs and clothes to dress the way I FU***** WANT TO, MOM!
  • Four good hookers in batches of two.

AND FINALLY

  • A one way plane ticket across the country (lets assume 500) and when I get there, go to the closest gas station and buy lotto tickets, a 6-pack, and some jerky with the remaining money.After which I'll spend my time drinking the beer, using a penny from the penny cup to scratch the ticket, and gnaw on some jerky whilst scratching my tickets hoping for enough money to make it home.

Best engineering videos for teachers and students on youtube

Be it teachers or students, engineering is always a tough nut to crack. Hence, being an engineering student I have made a list of YouTube channels that will help engineering students to understand the problems and apply in our day to day lives. I've also added one video from each channel.
  • AvE: The full form of AvE is Arduino versus Evil. They make cool videos for mostly electrical and electronics engineering students. But some general engineering videos are also added here.

  • TheEngineerGuy: TheEngineerGuy is the most interesting engineering channel on YouTube so far.  He makes the videos of all kind. Its a must watch channel for engineers and engineering students. You can also catch him on his website.

  • EEVblog: EEVblog is mostly popular for Electrical engineering students. "NO SCRIPT, NO FEAR, ALL OPINION. An off-the-cuff Video Blog about Electronics Engineering, for engineers, hobbyists, enthusiasts, hackers and Makers". This is the tagline of EEVblog guys. You can also catch them on their website.

  • Dan Gelbart: He is one of the co-founders of Creo (the optics company now owned by Kodak, not PTC Creo). He doesn't release videos on a regular basis, but his 18-part series on making prototypes in the machine shop is a great addition to any engineering program.

  • mrpete222: mrpete222 has mostly devoted his channel to the machines and engines. He have about 300 video demonstrations on the Bridgeport mill & South Bend, Atlas, Clausing, and Logan Lathes. You can also catch him on his website.

  • structurefree: He is a professor, a licensed engineer with degrees in civil/structural engineering. The videos are mostly for civil engineering students. His tagline says,"Don't be homeless, be a homey.."You can also catch him on his official facebook page.

If you think, I've missed any of the important channels for engineering students please comment and I will add those channels.

                                                          Happy Engineering.

[THEORY 2] Bitches Love High Pitches

This is the second theory or you may call the follow up of my first theory, Bitches Love Bitches. As most of my theories are derived and proved by real life situations and real life examples this one is no exception. You must be guessing what my Second theory is. It is wait for it... Drums rolling... Baa Dumm Tusss! BITCHES LOVE HIGH PITCHES. Not that cool when you already knew that from the post title. isn't it?

Anyhoo, Let me explain BITCHES LOVE HIGH PITCHES for ya’.

Let me paint you a mind picture, you are in a public bus (here you is a guy). A girl in her early 20’s boards the bus and gets seated next to you. I don’t think I have to say what will be going on a guy’s mind. He thinks about talking to you first, and slowly starts to flirt with you. And he directly reaches in his mid 60’s where he has a woman (the girl in the next seat) as his lovely wife who brings him a warm cup of coffee in the veranda. The grand kids playing hand ball in the lawn and the birds are chirping with the rhythm of Mother Nature. Everything is so perfect. How lovely is life? He may think so. Out of the blue, HONK HONK!! He’s in a bus. Whoa, that was just a mind picture, just an idea. A few minutes passes and the phone rings. It was not his. It was hers. She slowly takes out her iPhone from the back pocket of her skinny tight jeans. Finally, the girl answers her phone and what may I say, “The rest is history”.

You may think what the fish? Hold on! How high pitched voices have your ever heard? Or how annoying voice or sounds have you ever heard? The sound steel makes when it crushes another steel. Or when a woolen ball is rubbed with another woolen ball. Disgusting isn't it?

The same happens in this theory. We all have met some girls in high school or college who has a voice how do I put this gently... Fluctuating. That girl has a voice so, so, so loud and sharp you can’t even tolerate. You just want to kill her, put her in an early grave and never ever ever see her again and mostly never listen to her voice again. That’s the dream.

Never ever believe a girl who has a fluctuating and a sharp voice. Not loud, sharp and fluctuating. This is the statement of this theory. If you ever fall for such a girl. Follow these following steps:

1. RUN RUN , RUN for your life.

2. Run to Grand Canyon in Australia or where ever it is.

3. Jump from there.

The best part is. You didn't fell for that highly pitched filthy disgusting piece of arse. you fell for your dignity. You can thank me later for that.

As, I have already said all of my theories have been proved in real life situations. Where ever you may be Asia, Africa. This theory works perfectly fine.

A remainder to you again Never believe a girl who has a fluctuating and a sharp voice.

                                                  Peace Out Hombres!

I am moving to Amsterdam.

You will be amazed by this. Cocaine is legal in Amsterdam, Netherlands. Say what?

I only thought it was the sex capital of Europe but Cocaine?

See this poster published by the public health service of Amsterdam.

legal drugs cocaine amsterdam

Indeed, it is the drug capital of the entire world.

See ya' guys in Amsterdam.

[THEORY 1] Bitches Love Bitches

So you probably know that I have been working on a theory (and most of them are practically proved by me). The statement of this theory is,"Never believe a girl who owns a dog". Hence, I came up with bitches love bitches.

So, you all must be wondering what is this. Let me elaborate this for ya guys.

There's a pretty girl in my college and I had a crush on her since day one. But I never had the guts to make the final cut is what Pink Floyd should have said but instead I stalked her. It took me a week to find her name. After that I stalked her in Facebook. I've found out that she owns dog. A Japanese sphinx to be precise. It didn't bothered me at that time. I thought,"this gal owns a dog. Cool".
girls dogs relationships bitches theory

After Couple of days I was bored of internet stalking. Hence, I tried for some real life stalking. She comes in the same bus as I come. So it was easier for me to know where she board the bus. Hence I found her address. Now I stalked her in  college. I had to know where her class was. I found out that too. But after this I've got a strange feeling. It was not Love. I repeat it was not LOVE.

I asked my friend to know that she was available or not. 'cause he had a friend who has a friend in her class. And Later what I knew was heart breaking. A mini heartbreak. A heart break warfare.

She was the most disgusting person I've ever known. About her boyfriends, she has 2-3 boyfriends in college and two boyfriends outside of college. I mean how can a person handle that. If she was a he I would say Respect, Bro! But she was a she. How can such a pretty face tell so many of lies. How can those partial black - partial blue eyes cheat on her so called boyfriends.

Well, the silver lining is she is not the one. and what does this story or rather my theory proves is.

Never believe a girl who owns a dog. and this is not the first time I have had this theory proven. There are many stories behind this.

So guys don't never ever ever ever fall for a girl who owns a bloody dog.

                                                           Peace Out Hombres!

How to solve integration using a C program, C program to find integration

Well there's a saying,"Engineering is not complete without Programming" Or did I just made this saying. I thought I didn't. Lord Anish Niroula did.  No matter what Programming and calculus are always pain in the ass for most of the students.
Here I have written a simple piece of code in C Programming Language which merges the both aspects of calculus and programming.
This piece of code uses a well known method called "The Trapezium Rule" to calculate the area between the curve.
Here I have written the code for two forms algebric form and trigonometric form.

The equation for algebric form is y = x^2 + X
The equation for trigonometric form is y = (1+(sinx*sinx))^1/2

The program for algebric form is :

#include <stdio.h>
#include <stdlib.h>
#include <math.h>
int main()
{
    int a,b,y, area=0, x=0;
    int h=2;
    printf("Enter the value of a \n");
    scanf("%d",&a);
    printf("Enter the value of b \n");
    scanf("%d",&b);
    while (x<b)
    {
        y= x*(x+1);
        area = area+ (h*y);
        x = x+h;
    }
    printf("Total area is : %d \n ",area);
    system("pause");
    return(1);
}

The code for trigonometric form is:

#include <stdio.h>
#include <stdlib.h>
#include <math.h>
int main()
{
    int a,b,y, area=0, x=0;
    int h=2;
    printf("Enter the value of a \n");
    scanf("%d",&a);
    printf("Enter the value of b \n");
    scanf("%d",&b);
    while (x<=b)
    {
        y= sqrt(1+(sin(x)*sin(x)));
        area += (h*y);
        x+= h;
    }
    printf("Total area is : %d \n ",area);
    system("pause");
    return(1);
}

                                                           Peace Out Hombres!

High School Recommendation Letter for a Physics Student

When I graduated my high school, I was in search for decent recommendation letter. Then I approached my physics teacher (may be because I was only good at physics) and he wrote me a recommendation letter. I know finding a sample of recommendation letter for us Nepalese students is difficult. So, I am sharing my recommendation letter to you guys. This recommendation letter is only for physics students but it can be mostly used as a sample for all most all science subjects. Hope it helps!

The bird that just flew away

I belong to one of those families where job have seized the quality time with each other and technology has created a finite distance in our family relationship. After I aced my medical entrance exam, it remained about a week for my orientation class. I had no any particular work to do, except to get excited about my new life in hostel and a medical career. I always wished for that. I am used to of sitting alone along with my puppy for whole morning and day till my parents arrive home at night.

It was a rainy day and I was reading a novel. When I went to kitchen to drink a glass of water, something furiously flew over that scared daylight out of me. I came out to see what it was and to my surprise, a small baby bird was lying in my courtyard. I slowly went closer to it but, it didn't even move. It was gazing to my eyes and I felt a strong bond inside me, like a friend whom I met after a long gap or somebody who was so close to me departed earlier. I had no idea what it would eat but still I offered some grains. It didn't eat. Then I searched for a bottle cover to offer some water as it would fit its size. Perhaps it was searching his mother. I kept bottle cover in front of it but, it kept on staring me. I felt so affectionate that I raised the cover and fed it. Its beak could hardly sip a drop. After every sip, we looked at each other and talked but, not with words. Very soon it drank the water. I was relieved. It was like feeding my own soul. I took some photograph and picked it up in my palm. Suddenly it flew away. It was so majestic to have such blissful moment with it. It was destined to fly away and I can't lament for it was gone. Sometimes, simply life teaches us something valuable in small moments. We learn to live, learn to enjoy and love but we can't keep everything we adore in life. Something is just meant to be cherished and let it go.

P.S I didn't write this post. This was the sole writing of Seema Adhikari. The picture was also taken by her. Beautiful Isn't it?

Be ready to get Engi-neered!

Completed high school and somehow managed to get into an engineering school. Yeah I don’t believe myself too. But, this shit happened and I am glad. Talking about engineering, I was intrigued by engineers and engineering since my childhood but I never thought that I could (If I graduate) become an engineer like them. I mean it’s cool to see how machines work, how electricity is generated, how does a Television operate but with this pleasure comes a rigorous and a tough course.

How tough you say? Let me paint a mind picture for ya’ guys. Since, I am from Nepal we have Mount Everest here so think you are on a trip to climb Mt. Everest. But your way to the Everest there’s a snow storm, what do you do? You panic, right? The same thing happens in engineering. Snow storms are the semester end examinations. There may be many internal hurdles while climbing the Everest. You may feel dizzy or nauseous and that my friend is internal examinations.

Studying ten subjects a year is not a joke. I mean T-E-N. It’s like 1 subject a month excluding all holidays and weekends. It may look easy, I mean one subject a month duh’ but these subjects are not just Physics or mathematics or Computing. They get changed into Engineering Physics, Discrete Mathematics and Object oriented Programming and so on. And they are just theory subjects, there’s a practical subject for every theory subject except maths. Hence, T-E-N subject get changed into 18 (excluding two math’s in two semesters)

I am going out of topic here. I know that, I am already frightened but there’s no other option for me instead of conquering my dream.
Let us talk about how my college life would go in another post. This post is getting boring; I mean who would like to hear a gossip about calculus and Thermal Science.
Peace out hombres.

Aren't we all?

“I am bound, bound by certain principles, principles that won’t let me do my things, things that are too simple, simple but complex, complex but easy, easy as hell but, I am bound”, he said.

I said,” Why is that”?

He increased his tone and said,” Society bro”.

I asked,” What is wrong with society? They have made us who we are now. If we were not bound by these rules God knows what would happen to us”.

He murmured,” God knows shit”. Do you even know who created god?

I replied,” No, I don’t. No one can create god. There is no such thing as god.”

“Exactly”, he said.

“But I do know one thing, there may be no such thing as god but there is some energy everywhere. Do you believe in that? ”, I asked.

He said,” Yes, I do.”

I said, “Great then. Do you know what science says”?

“What”? He said.

I replied,” Energy can neither be created nor be destroyed, but only can be transformed from one form to another”.

“Bull shit. You think energy is god”? He said.

He again added,” Then everything around us is god. Everything around us posses some energy, the flowing river has kinetic energy, Is this god? The sun has solar energy, is this god? The wind posses some kind of energy too, is this god?”

“Exactly. The flowing river when it is irrigated to the land of farmers in the season of drought brings happiness to their faces, the rays of sun when falls on the plants, photosynthesis takes place and it brings happiness to plants too, and when a cool breeze hits you in the summer, don’t you fell happy?” I asked.

“So you mean happiness is god”? He asked as he was annoyed by my answers.

“Isn't it”? , I replied.

“You are a Psychopath”, He shouted as he was preparing to leave.

“Aren't we all”, was my answer.

Solitude: what is this and how to attain it?

what is solitude, hoe to attain solitude, positive monday

In this intricately connected world, it is difficult to find solitude. And it is necessary that one must, from time to time. We in India are blessed that most people do not give a negative connotation to solitude, unlike in Western cultures where it may be equated with loneliness, sadness and anti-social tendencies. After all, solitude is extolled in our epics and our scriptures.

The benefits of solitude are many. It helps improve concentration, and thereby increases productivity. One is able to work more effectively and in lesser time. It provides time for you to think deeply about yourself, your work and your environment and helps think through problems more effectively and creatively.

Solitude also helps you think deeply about yourself and your relationships and thereby enhance the quality of your relationships. You may come to appreciate relationships more after you have spent time with yourself.

Which is not to say that one should give up one’s world and take to the Himalayas in search of peace. There are many small steps we can take to help ourselves.

Try switching off from distractions you can do without. Try to switch off the TV when you are watching a mindless sitcom and use that time to think about yourself, your day, your relationships, anything. Take time off from the incessant beeping of phones and messages. Just be.

See if you can get up 30 minutes earlier than usual and spend time with yourself, doing things that you like doing. It could be meditation, or gardening, or walking. Or again, just be-ing.

If you are studying or working on a project at home or in your office, shut that door. People may be taken aback if you are not used to doing this, but they would respect it soon. Tell your loved ones, or your colleagues that you are going to need that solitude.

Successful people actually mark off time on their calendars for solitude. It doesn't have to be long. Any time that you can spend alone with yourself to meditate, focus, relax, create and think deeply, is better than no time.

So, reboot your life in the coming week. Have a nice Monday!
